Welcome to our web page. I am Madeleine Kerkhof of De Levensboom, a small  company, based in The Netherlands. I work closely together with my love and husband Kees. Our mission is to offer you, professional in health care and your patients the best aromatherapy has to offer. We offer high quality essential oils, CO2 extracts and base oils. We are the largest supplier of CO2 extracts in Europe. These special extracts have great fragrances and healing powers and combine very well with conventional essential oils and base oils.

I have a background in nursing and offer over 20 years of education and experience in natural therapies, especially focussed on health care professionals. I travel within my country and the world to offer education and traing. With my book “Complementary Nursing in End of Life Care” I inspire them to add quality of life to the very sick and dying – which is my special passion and field of expertise.

We carefully select a perhaps limited, but well-chosen range of oils from around the world, preferably from artisanal producers with love for their land and their product. We believe that more isn’t necessarily better. We choose what we feel works best for health care and formulate synergies too.

We also formulate and produce aromatic specials for special situations, such as inhalers, AromaPatches®, creams, skin- and bath products.

Think of our MucoCare gel for optimum mouth care, our composition “Digesticalm” for nausea, or “Dreamland” for improved sleep, or our top-product “Barrier Cream Extra Care”, that helps to heal the extra sensitive skin, moisture lesions and stage 1 and 2 bed sores.

We fill our bottles and jars not only with beautiful oils, but with love and intention as well. I promise: you’ll notice!

We also offer education for health care professionals on Aromatherapy / AromaCare and AquaCare, CO2 extracts in (Clinical) Aromatherapy, Massage and Relaxation Techniques.
